Nomiya Night
Friday, September 16th
at The Diamond Horseshoe
Nomiya Night is an all inclusive event that is entertainment driven, but food and cocktail focused. Check your wallets and coats at the door and let us create an unforgettable experience for you.
Our event will feature Hakutsuru Sake and Mizu Shochu cocktails from the Nomiyas, our Pop-Up craft cocktail bars. The award winning and renowned Angel's Share, ROKC, and Black Crescent will be showcasing the talents of Japanese trained chefs and mixologists from around the world.
John Daley, Starchef 2015, will be on the elevated balcony, preparing a one of kind omakase for the VIP guests.
In Diamond Horseshoe's "Chocolate Communion Room," 0FG will be spotlighting Japanese Spirits and Whisky. Suntory Experts will be offering guided tastings in the CCR, as well as teaming up with Prohibition Bakery to create delicious Suntory Toki Cupcakes for all.
This and more alongside a live sumo event, with three championship athletes, along with a chance to meet and face off against the Sumo Stars themselves!

John Daley’s journey into food has led him around the world and back again, through many different cuisines and stations in the industry. Daley finally discovered his calling under the mentorship of acclaimed sushi chef Masato Shimizu of Michelin-starred 15 East. From there, he went to train in Tokyo under Shimizu’s mentor, Rikio Kugo of the renowned Sukeroku. While studying in Japan, Daley made deep connections with the fishing community, enabling New York Sushi Ko to deliver some of the finest, freshest fish in the world to its eleven seats.
